Original, authentic poster by the famous artist, Howard Chandler Christy who made some of the most famous WWI posters. This is a large sheet, 40 inches by 27. See scan. Rather large chunk out of the edge on the left hand side in the flag which can be seen in the scan. Other condition problems include many tears and chipping along all of the edges. Most of the tears have been repaired with archival, acid free tape on the reverse. All of these rough areas could be framed out. Heavy fold across the middle as mailed and some tears there have also been repaired. There was one area in the top area where the lithograph was missing and it showed white. This was touched up with water colors which makes it difficult to spot. Overall an impressive display. Will not mail in the frame.
