Two cancels on this undivided back card, one from Louisville and the other from Wilton Maine.  One large and light crease on the upper right hand corner, a small tip crease and other minor wear.  Don't know what the black area in the right sky was caused by.

My new scanner cut off the right edge but the card is intact with minor wear.  My father always made us stop here on family trips just to re-enforce the big lie he told that we had Indian blood.  He was from Oklahoma and he knew it would make my Grandmother mad but he had me convinced for many years that we were part Indian. I hated staying here as it was so cramped.

This great divided back card was mailed but I can't read the year. There is wear to the right side with some flaking off at the corners and bunged up corner tip on the bottom right hand side.  

Nice vintage view is this small Ky coal town.  Card was never mailed and has minor tip wear.

This card was never mailed but the date of publication is on the back.  It was produced by the Camp Zachary Taylor News and Magazine Agency.  "John L Herbert and his comrades, the first of the Kentucky contingent to register at Camp Zachary Taylor..."

I thought this was a Kentucky card but it was canceled from Ohio. Postmarked from Piqua Ohio. Anyway they are Kentucky mares. Wear to corners and some dark dots on the card which blend in with the background. Nice antebellum fence.

This postcard has a message on the back but was never mailed. Condition problems include large creases. "Flood power illustrated. Tank cars floated and piled like kindling." Railroad cars. Published in Louisville Kentucky and is one of a series of the cards featuring damage by the big flood.
