Short billhead for a famous hotel in Lebanon Tn. Folds and some crumpling. https://www.wilsonlivingmagazine.com/horn-springs-resort/ This is an interesting article on this famous hotel.
"Once upon a time in Lebanon, Tennessee a full service hotel sat on the west side of town. The establishment offered up a gourmet dining experience, bowling alley and dance hall. But the most important and perhaps the biggest draw to Horn Springs Resort was the mineral water that was tapped, bottled and sold to guests."

This is an advertising cover addressed to Roger Williams University in Nashville Tn. The cancel is from Cincinnati Ohio. Journal and Messenger in Cincinnati. Torn in two places with a tear down the left edge. The flap on the back is missing as well.
Here is some information about the university taken from Wikipedia.
Roger Williams University in Nashville, Tennessee was an historically black college. It was created in 1866 as one of numerous schools established in the South by the American Baptist denomination, and became the largest Baptist college in the area for educating African Americans. Protestant mission groups sponsored new educational facilities for the freedmen. The college was named for Roger Williams, the founder to the First Baptist Church in America. Daniel W. Phillips, a white minister and freedmen's missionary from Massachusetts, taught the first classes. It helped educate numerous African-American teachers and other leaders in the South throughout the 19th century, including William Madison McDonald, who became an influential Republican politician in Texas. In 1929, the university became involved in mergers that eventually culminated in the formation of LeMoyne–Owen College

Advertising letter sheet signed with the stamp of Robert Ferrell featuring a Berkshire hog and a Tennessee Bred Jersey cow. There is an advertising cover with a Nashville cancel and on the back two cancels, one from Duck River Tennessee and Williamsport Tennessee. See scan.
Here is a brief history of this farm found on the web:
Overton Hall, "the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Maxwell Overton was built in 1900 by Mr. Overton. The land on which Overton Hall stands was granted by the United States government to Jesse Maxwell, the great grandfather of its present owner, for services in the Revolutionary War.” Overton was a businessman and stockbreeder, and he built the home for his wife Saidee Williams, daughter of banker John P. Williams. Overton Hall was built on the original Travellers’ Rest south of Nashville, and he ran a farm, famous for the breeding of Berkshire hogs and Jersey cattle. The second owners Herbert and Ritchey Farrell renamed it Crieve Hall, after a family ancestral home in Northern Ireland. It stood until the early 1950s when it was razed for a housing development. The Tudor brick home was located about nine miles south of downtown Nashville, two miles north of Brentwood and east of Franklin Pike. One of its streets is Farrell Parkway, named for the family.
