Handsome paper poster which measures 21 X 14 inches.  Some wear as described:  1. Mid fold as made, 2.  Slight crumpling on left side. 3.clipped bottom left hand corner, 4. slight tears at point of the fold, 5 2 inch light cardboard paper pasted on to the middle of the top,on the blank side, possibly where it was hung. Should present well when framed

This is a one and a quarter inch celluloid button.  Some surface scratches and rust in one area of the metal rim.

This is a variation of the more common button.  Nice condition and measures one and a quarter inch.

This invitation was sent to Mr E Quigley.  The envelope has scrapbook remnants on the back but the invitation is clean.

5/8 of an inch litho with wear.  Made by Green Duck.

77 pages of illustrations of buttons and other campaign items.  Price guide which is outdated since it was published in 1972.

This is an albumen encased in the photographic folder of C O Broyles (not sure about the first letter), Lawrenceburg Tennessee. The photo and holder measures 13+ by 10 inches.  Some wear to two corners and residue from a price sticker at top right corner.  Photograph is sepia with no condition problems.  It shows a huge portrait of Herbert Hoover alongside American flags.  Theodore Roosevelt Jr, son of Teddy Roosevelt is at the microphone. I do not recognize any of the other politicians on the stage with him.  

When I spotted scan #1 in an antique mall I thought it was some kind of interesting poster.  When I bought it and took it out of the holder I realized that it was an article, most likely from Life Magazine.  Still I was struck with the interesting photographs so hopefully it will strike a cord with a Willkie collector.  The campaign items I mention may or may not be shown in the scans as the pages were much larger than my scanner.  In the first photo one can see a poster I have never seen before.  Shows Willkie and reads Welcome Home Wendell Willkie.  There is a large circular portrait and two smaller ones It could be a 3-D portrait with a banner.  The second scan shows Willkie looking a little crazy with an overwhelming crowd.  A person in the car is wearing a Wilkie button. The third scan shows a plethora of one of a kind signs, some of which I hope are in collector's hands.   

Two 7 by 5 inch photographs showing President William Harding all dressed up.  I'm guessing from the formal wear that it was made at the time of his inauguration.  Crease at top left hand edge of the bottom photograph. Someone in the past framed the photos together. The photographer was G W Stephenson in Paterson, N J 

This item is 12 by 7 inches and is on quality paper.  Handsome certificate awarded to W S Catron who donated $1 to the campaign of 1912. This had been pasted to something so there is glue residue on the back, some of which shows through as a stain on the front.  Folds, creases and a rough top. There is a tear at the bottom left hand edge.  This could be soaked, pressed, and mended to improve the appearance. 

Seven page booklet with illustrations put out by the Democratic Party in 1932.  Excellent condition. 

This is the stub of a ticket for the President's Birthday Ball.  There is a punch in the shape of a Y which I'm sure was done at admission.  Franklin D Roosevelt.

This item is in good condition and measures 5 X 3 inches.

3/4 of an inch litho with minor wear..  This was a fund raiser for the fight against infantile paralysis, which the President, Franklin D Roosevelt suffered from.   

Five stamps in good condition.  Can be mailed as a letter for a savings.

Twelve page pamphlet emphasizing the achievements of Charles Curtis of Kansas who ran with Hoove.  Note the stains from the rusted stables.

This trimmed photograph measures 7 and a half by 6 inches.  Condition problems include a clipped left hand edge, tear at mid right hand edge, creasing, including one vertical one that runs the length of the photograph.  See back with has a copyright warning for reproduction of the image.  I have selling the actual photograph so hope its ok legally.  There is an accompanying cardboard backing (not attached) which reads President Woodrow Wilson, Joseph E Murphy-operator in charge of White House detail and E W Starling.  Whoever trimmed the photo left out the person in the foreground who looks a lot like Coolidge but not sure. See third scan. 

This lt was for a reception that was held in the White House in 1940 for Edward Quigley and his family members.  The back of the envelope is covered with scrap book remnants. 

These small posters measure 11 by 8+ inches.  The FDR poster has the most problems-rusted paper clip stains,  a stain between Carry and On., acidic stain at upper right hand corner, two large light creases in mid-poster, one corner crease and a damaged tip.  The Wallace poster has a lighter paper clip stain but that's about it.

Twelve pages.  Good condition.  

Small item which measures five by three and a half inches.  The wives are on the back and it opens up to show both couples.

All three items are clean.  Addressed to Edward T Quigley.

One inch button.  Good condition other than a little bumpy on the surface. Some rusting on the collet. Paper is present. 

Scarce button usually found in poor condition.  Please view the scan which shows the appearance.  One inch celluloid.

Two cello buttons measuring 7/8 of an inch.  Minor wear.

This paper poster is partially encapsulated which should protect it and will be mailed rolled.  Measures 21f by 16 inches. The left margin is not as wide as the right margin so evidently was trimmed at some point.  Minor wear including light crumpling in spots.  The most prominent defect is an area at the top left hand corner where scotch tape was removed from the back. Scotch tape was removed in other areas on the back but it did not tear the paper that much. The strangest thing is on the back which is not a stain but a dried up substance perhaps a rubber band.  I've made this poster out to be in terrible condition but it is actually quite handsome and would look great framed up. 

This paper item looks like a bumper sticker but the glue is on the front so it is a window sticker.  See scan to see some tiny dark spots, some I scraped off with my finger nail after scanning.  Measures 10 inches.

7/8 of an inch celluloid from Maine.  Multiple celluloid scratches which you don't note unless you rotate it, especially under a light.  It doesn't need magnification to see the scratches.

Nice local campaign item from 1934.  Great condition.

Looks good to the eye.  I see a very small pin prick sized black spot but it seems to be in the printing.  Scratch under one of the points next to the rim visible under magnification.
