These are four postcards showing the destruction of a catastrophic fire.  One shows City Hall & First Baptist Church Park St and Central Ave.  One shows Granite Hall or Broadway and 4th street. One shows Arlington & Summer St and finally one that shows burning oil on Marginal street. All have some wear, please view the scans.

This is a very early postcard which was never mailed.  Somewhat dingy appearance, most of which looks like it could be cleaned up with a good eraser.  Minor wear   Memorial Hall.  Austin Hall. Hemmenway Gymnasium 

This early card was never mailed.  Please view the scan to see the condition problems which include a corner crease on right bottom corner, some wear to the top edge, a light water stain at the bottom edge and other minor wear. Gore Hall Library, Holworthy, Thayer, and Massachusetts 1720.

Postally used but year is not there.  Multiple creasing on the suface which does not extend to the back.  Loss of the surface on the corners and edges.  Still looks presentable and you don't notice the creasing until you rotate the card.

Interesting content on this white border card. Sign for a Tintype photographer store.  Corner wear, crease on upper right hand corner.  Stain along right hand border.  Not used.

Interesting card which shows Lynn Fire Engine No 1 in ruins after the famous fire in Chelsea Massachusetts. Small tear in bottom edge and rough scissor trim on the right hand side. Couple of puncture marks.

Mailed but can't quite read the year. Some corner wear and a stain-like area in the sky to the left of the school. See scan.

This card was not postally used but I found a Dedham in Massachusetts. Some wear to corners and several breaks in the photo surface that appear as creases but aren't.
