The most interesting thing about this sheet is the cover which shows Oliver Ditson's building.  Oliver Ditson (1811-1888) was an American businessman and founder of Oliver Ditson and Company, one of the major music publishing houses of the late 19th century.  The sheet is titled Sparkling Polka by Thomas Baker.  Clean and complete.

Shape Note Tune Book-The Missouri Harmony
Item #: NEW-007033

I had been unable to identify the title and edition date of this Sacred Harp songster until recently when a very knowledgeable person furnished this information:

"The shape note book you have is The Missouri Harmony, compiled by Allen D. Carden.  It looks as if your copy begins on p. 7?  Assuming the inscribed date was actually written in 1822, it could only be the first edition (Cincinnati: Morgan and Lodge, 1820).  All subsequent editions (and there are many) are later, 1824-1848 or so.  It has been reprinted once or twice more, at least as recently as 2005.

Leather bound book, measuring 9 by 5 and a half inches. Period hand writing on the inside cover has the name of the owner which I can't quite read and October 23rd 1822-Montgomery County Tennessee. The title page is missing as well as some ensuing pages.  It is probable that there is also text missing in the back of the book. There seems to be 200 pages in the book. The last page has two hymns, Portugal and Pleyel's Hymn. Some pages are loose and other pages has some loss of text. All these things would be unforgivable but for the rarity and revival of popularity of this unique manner of singing.

Hank Williams Moanin' the Blues Album-Vintage
Item #: TEN-003593

Boxed set of classic Hank Williams songs, "Moanin' the Blues", "Lovesick Blues", "Honky Tonk Blues", "Long Gone Lonesome Blues", "I'm a Long Gone Daddy", "I'm so Lonesome I Could Cry", "The Blues Come Around," "My Sweet Love Ain't Around." I believe this album was published in 1952 but there is no date on the album. The LP records appear to be pretty clean with no deep scratches and not warped. I've listened to the records and noted no problems. The box has some wear. Crack in the lower spine and other wear to the spine and box. Light age staining on the cover and other minor wear. This four record set was put out by MGM Records. MGM number 168.

There are some chipped off places which can be seen in the scan and a drop of point on Bill Monroe. Hole in the top. Young poses of Johnny Cash, Bill Monroe, Dolly Parton, Chet Atkins ?, and Barbara Mandrell.
