Beautiful condition and subject matter on this blotter

Color lithography on this trade card for L M Eggleston Banner Laundry.  State is not mentioned.

Possibly trimmed at the top.  Information on the back about the quack cure. Measures 4++2+ inches.  The back is lighter than the scan.

This little booklet measures 4 by 4 inches and was put out by the Chamber of Commerce in Meridian.  It's a little view booklet showing bathing beauties, Meridian Junior High School, Lauderdale County peach and strawberries orchards, hydro-electric plant, highways, a city home, a church, and a creamery.  Color lithograph covers and all in excellent condition.

This die cut measures eleven and a half inches tall.  One crease which runs vertically down the floor and is not that prominent and there is glue residue on the back.  

This is a great 1883 advertising item for a quack cure.  Features a "country doctor" administering to a sick child with her worried brother looking on.  Framed so can mail framed or unframed.  This die cut is in mint condition and it is unusual in this time period that blacks are presented in a non stereotypical manner. Indeed blacks were usually presented in a unfavorable light. Measures twelve and a half inches.  J C Ayer and company Lowell Massachusetts.

Large missing area in upper right hand corner along with some kind of shiny area that does not detract.  Back indicates it was given out by H S Andrews, dealer in Fine Groceries Lake Street Bergen NY.  Scrap residue on the back.

Some wear to the corners with some flaking off of the image.  Advertising on the back for Peerless Machinery-The Geiser Manufacturing Do. Waynesboro Pa. 

Colorful peach crate label which measures eight and a half inches by seven and a half.  Nice condition.  This peach brand was the prize winners at the Georgia Peach Blossom Festival. G L Wynne Newnan Georgia. I'm guess 1920 to 1940.  It is not a color lithograph.  Small cross hatches under magnification. Silk screen? 

This three part calendar was made for the company's fiftieth anniversary in 1903  Measures eighteen and a half by ten inches. There seems to be minor wear to the calendar but there is general wear to the folds. I bought this shrink wrapped on acid free board so am selling as it appears on the front.  There is probably advertising on the back and possible damage.  Lithograph

This beautiful item was produced by the Grand Union Tea Company and depicts all the great accomplishments of the 1800's.  Complete and measures twelve by eight plus inches. There are three months on each page. The interior pages are quite clean but the cover has wear, There is a large corner crease and small and a  large edge cut.  The most unsightly problem, however, is the large and small stains in the middle portion.  Please view the scans.   

This is a four page insert that came from Fortune Magazine in 1933 which accompanied an article in the magazine about Cigar Art.  These are actually stone color lithographs on slick paper just as they might have appeared on Cigar boxes.  Excellent condition.  I have two identical sets, only one in this listing.  See all the scans including close ups of some.  The pages measure 11 by 14 inches.

Fourteen items, which look great on the front but advertising messages on the back are covered up with album remnants.

Two sample lithograph trade cards which measure seven by four inches.  Businesses ordering these would add their advertising information on the back.  See scans.  The second one has some stains on the border of the upper left edge.  The first caption reads "Who's Dar?' and the second "Golly I'm a Dead Nigger.".  

I think this is a beautiful example of color lithography.  In fact I framed it and it hung in my kitchen for many years.  I had forgotten that the back was nice as well.  The middle part is completely missing.  Other than that minor wear.  Covers only

Beautiful color lithographic trade cards which were taken from a scrapbook, leaving damage on the back to all but one of the cards.  

This interesting scene has the date 1903 at the bottom left hand corner.  Measures eleven and a half by nine and a half inches.  Shrink wrapped so I don't know if anything is on the back.  The border is quite dingy especially at the top corners but the litho itself is beautiful.

Colorful animals on these trade cards.  The speckled dog has a corner crease  and the cat has several small white areas where the surface has come off.  All of the backs have damage from glue or scrapbook remnants.  The good back is shown in the scan. G M Haves is the lithographer.

This is another variety of this advertising trade card that I've listed.  This measures almost six inches by a little under four inches.  The card is embossed.  The reverse does not have any writing on it but does have album remnants of each of the corners.  Nice condition.

Seven by five plus inches on this thick color lithograph cardboard calendar in the form of a trade card. Some wear to the corners where some of the brown color has worn off.  Some scattered small spots. Calendar for 1910 is on the back and advertising for this St Louis Missouri company. The model is Beatrice.  

Beautiful color litho cover for this New Year's day dinner given at the hotel.  Measures nine by six inches

This company was actually based in London, Paris, and Toronto.  It has two openings where you are to put in front of a friends face to diagnose his/her personality.  You match the color on the card to your friends eye color.  Example: "Beware your emotions, they rule your head.  Frank and open, quick tempered but never vindictive.  Fine intellect." Nice condition.

Soft pastels on this trade card advertising a cure for many ailments.  Humphrey's Homeopathic Co.  This card was issue by Dodge's Pharmacy in Springfield Vermont.  Nice condition

Attractive 5 X 3 inch card.  Corner crease and wear to other corners. 

Unusual item which presents like a cabinet card and looks like photograph but is actually a color litho.  It is two sided, with the animals posed in a different scenes.  There is a chip out of the upper left hand corner and some flaking of the tips and edge.  The card is trimmed in red .  One side says "with best wishes" and the other side reads " A Prosperous New Year".  I am guessing that it was made as a salesman sample and the advertisers could add their own message.  Tack hole on one side and this side also has streaks through the cats. The tack hole pooches out on the other side.   If you don't like that side you can display the other.     

Four color lithographed advertisement for flour seeds.  Paper measures eight and a half by six and a half inches.  Seeds advertised are 1.  The Baby Rose, 2. Chinese Celery Cabbage, 3.  The Japanese Beauty, and 4. Sakurajima Radish.  Minor wear.

I believe this to be a rare trade card which features "The Bartholdi Statue", later to become known as the Statue of Liberty.  Light bend on upper right hand corner and light stain at bottom.  Front reads The Bartholdi Statue Bedloe's Island-New York Harbor.  A git from the French People to America.  The Statue is of Copper Bronze, 148 Ft in Height, Mounted on a Stone Pedestal 150 Ft. High.  The Torch Displays a Powerful Electric Light. The back is an advertisement for Nichols" Bark and Iron,( a quack remedy).  Billings, Clapp & Co New York-Boston.

This dealer lot consists of seven  placards advertising different models of the Wing Piano.  The color lithography advertising is mounted on a black cardboard stock.  Minimal wear to the paper which has a slick surface.  Measures 11 and a half by 11 and a half inches, not counting the board. All are different and includes 1. New Style Exposition Concert Grand-White and Good, 2. Wing Piano Concert Grand, New Style Imperial Circassian Walnut,  3.Concert Grand, Style 29-Circassian Walnut, 4. Concert Grand Style 19 Quartered Oak, 5.Cabinet Grand, Style 23-Figured Mahogany, 6.Cabinet Grand Style 23-Circassian Walnut, and 7. Concert Grand, Style 29 Figured Mahogany Case..    

This is a trade card which shows five of the buildings from the The Centennial International Exhibition of 1876, the first official World's Fair in the United States, was held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.  There is advertisement on the front which reads, "Presented by L Kussner, Palace of Music, Terre Haute, Indiana." There is a corner crease which seems to blend into the graphics. Back side is dingy and stained.  Words and music to the hymn "Hand in Hand."

This large die-cut calendar measures fifteen by twelve inches and is near perfect. I found only one crease on the top blue ribbon and some wear on the edge of the bow. Complete tear off calendar for 1907. Pardon the flash in the middle. This item will be mailed in the hard-shell archival holder. The advertising content is Wellen & Son, dealer in Fine Footwear in Cincinnati Ohio.

"It makes a Delicious Drink" and is for Exhaustion for mental and physical and Dyspepsia. Measures 5 and 3/4 by five and a half inches. A couple of small spots of the back, which is an advertisement for the quack remedy,where it was taken from an album.

This card measures 7 by 5 inches and advertised the Estey Piano company in New York. One corner crease and other minor wear. There is a history on the back of the company.
