Neat graphic of the warehouse on the 1887  advertising cover with an overstrike of the successor to this company, Thomas S Bean.  Addressed to Thomas S Bean, Esq, Augusta Ga.  Faint cancel for Gaffney, S C.  

This cute little item measures four inches long and one and a half inches tall.  Carved from wood and old.  See scan.

This lot consists of ten cards showing balloons and zeppelins.  A few of the cards have some staining in the border but most do not.  No creases.  See scan.  Aviation Series #4, #5, #9, #11, #13 #14, #35, #38, #40 #43,   

Six small cards that were issued in Cigarette packs in 1905 by John Player. Some minor wear to the tips but with no creases. One has pencil scribbling on the back.

Carton measures 8 and a half by 5+ inches and will require a medium priority bax.

This little card was an insert in a cigarette pack produced by the Imperial company in Canada  It is from Baseball Series set known as C46 made in 1910. Lee was a pitcher for the Newark International League which had teams in America and Canada.  He was a pitcher.  

This little tobacco card was inserted in cigarette packs by the Imperial Company based in Canada.  This was the first card in the C-55 series perhaps since he was a Hockey Hall of Fame player.  This card has some damage so please study the scan carefully. There is a hard to see light crease which begins at the top of the right hand edge and runs through part of his shirt.  The area at the right bottom corner is also a crease.

This listing consists of a lot of eleven cards which were made in the early 1900's and were inserts in cigarette packs.  They measure two and a half plus inches by one and a half inches.  All are in excellent condition and since they are color lithographs are quite beautiful. See the scans of the front and one is shown of the back which is an example of what is on the other cards.  Reading from left to right here are the birds. 1. The Scarlet Tanger, 2. Pheasant, 3. Bluebird, 4.Wild Turkey, 5. King-Fisher, 6. Blue Jay, 7. Cardinal, 8. Swallow-Tailed Indian Roller, 9. Vermilion Flycatcher, 10. Ruffed Grouse, 11. Blue Grosbeak 

The Perfection holder is oil skin cloth. Roth ,Bruner & Feist in Cincinnati Ohio is the dealer.  Measures 5 by 3 and a half inches. The other holder is slightly larger, John Dewey's El Pirate Cigars Pelican Roost in St. Petersburg Florida. Corner crease and someone wrote figures on the back with a  pen.

Excellent condition on this 1916 Billhead.

Large missing area in upper right hand corner along with some kind of shiny area that does not detract.  Back indicates it was given out by H S Andrews, dealer in Fine Groceries Lake Street Bergen NY.  Scrap residue on the back.

This is a four page insert that came from Fortune Magazine in 1933 which accompanied an article in the magazine about Cigar Art.  These are actually stone color lithographs on slick paper just as they might have appeared on Cigar boxes.  Excellent condition.  I have two identical sets, only one in this listing.  See all the scans including close ups of some.  The pages measure 11 by 14 inches.

Love the large graphics and period look to this bill head from the maker of Banquet Hall Bouquet Cigars.  Fold and a stain.

Attractive tobacco tin made by the Larus & Brothers Co in Richmond. Five inches tall.  Minor rusting in areas.  The fourth side not shown in the scans is the cleanest. 

I'm unable to read the cancel on this envelope which I estimate to be early to mid 1900's.  See scan

This tin measures 4 and a half inches by two and a half inches. It is from R A Patterson Tobacco Company in Richmond Virginia. See scan, minor wear.

Two page circular sent from New York to McCorkle & James in Lynchburg Virginia. News about the availability of tobacco in various parts of the country. Edge tear at mid fold. Paper is a blue rag. My scanner doesn't like the color blue. Nice early tobacco item.

Beautiful color litho advertising display for a cigarette brand I'm unfamiliar with. Pristine condition. Measures 14 by 11 and a half inches. Cardboard.

Folds, water stains.

People are a little blurry. Sanderson is the family name of this store but don't know where it was. Wear to the boards which can be seen in the scan.

This case is probably from the 40's as it has the patent date expiring in 1952. I believe it is probably chrome. There are scratches on the covers. Crudely engraved on the backside is S A E-Sigma Alpha Epsilon. Professional engraved on the front are the initials D L L.

Nice leather case with a map of the occupied zones in France and Germany. Some wear to the back of the case.

Pretty nice condition on this rather scarce variety of a Union Leader tin. Please view the scans to see the condition. Top closes but is hard to open due to a dent in the rim. Measures around 8 by 4 inches.

Beautiful colors on these cigar art labels. The Klene's Buzzer is a color lithograph. The Pony post has some damage where the image has worn off (extends from the bit to the neck of the horse). The Tom Mix has a little of the gold worn off at top right hand corner, upper edge, and a little on the tips. All three measure 5+ by 4+ inches.

Short billhead for the Bishop Cigar Co manufacturers of cigars and dealers in Leaf Tobacco. This company evidently moved from Cincinnati Ohio. Cover carries a Covington Ky cancel.

Cigar advertising cutter from a merchant, W A Chambers, in Clarksville Tennessee. This company opened in 1907 so this item can be dated after that. This is an actual cigar label from the brand The New Currency, P Lorillard Company Makers. The merchant inserted his name at the bottom which is damaged, as can be seen in the scan. See the other scans to view the overall condition. The base is walnut wood and the frame is brass. Measurements are 8 by 5 inches

This is a long box from the Dixie Maid Company which I presume was for cigars. See scans for condition of this item which measures about 17 by 6 inches.

They don't come any prettier than this one. Great Confederate Flag decorates this bill head advertising Stars & Bars Tobacco. Also illustration for Red Eye Chewing Tobacco. The bottom part in the scan has been glued on the the back of the bill head.  

Two punch holes at the top and bill head has been cut down. Dealer in Tom Moore Havana Cigars and Cinco 5 cent cigar. Company owned by Rothenberg & Schloss and Niies & Moser.
