This is a 108 page soft bound booklet written in 1974 by Don Cranmer.  Filled with illustrations of a price guide which of course would not be reflective of today's prices.  The cover has a large crease and is quite worn.  Will be sent by media mail and excessive postage will be refunded.

This would be a great book for the bank collector as it has so many color illustrations of banks. 171 pages, hardback book, publisher Schiffer.Printed in 1993 so the price guide would not be reliable but informative in other ways for the serious collector. I believe this car is probably from the 50's 0r 60's. Made in Japan with a B in the middle.  The car is metal and the tires are rubber.  The Grill and bumpers are rusted along with the headlights and the thing above the bumper.  The paint has minor wear but overall very good.  There is a slight bump on the right front side near the headlight.  Overall this a nice specimen. 

I've always been a sucker for old wood boxes.  The set is not perfect, with some missing items from the various games.  I found one checker missing and some of the chess men have been damaged. Obviously some of the cribbage pegs are missing and there may be other things. The game boards are leather. There are three little die in the cup which is either bone or ivory. The box measures 13 by 7 inches.  The key to the box is missing. There is a paper sticker on the bottom, some of the letters are too worn to read but it ends in Uchars, London.  Please view the scans to see all the contents. Circa 1890

I have been unable to find a game of Authors on the web as old as this one.  I would be surprised if it not the first edition.  It is clearly from the 1880"s with color lithography.  The little box is complete but worn and is split on three of the corners.  The bottom is in good condition.  The backs of the cards are a blue color.  The game is complete according to the directions on the inside of the box which explains that seven authors are featured and there are three of each of those authors.  One of the cards does have a corner missing. It's pretty incredible to find a complete game this old.  The box measures five by four inches.   

This 47 page softbound catalog has to be rarer than the highly sought Humpty Dumpty Circus made by Schoenhut.  Filled with illustrations of the toys including color illustrations of all the toys which goes with the circus. Other illustrations of other dolls and toys made by the company. Intact, lightly dingy on the white part of the covers. The order blank has never been removed from the book.  Philadelphia Pennsylvania.

Beautiful hard cover book published by Accent Studios in 1984.  It contains hundreds of color photographs of banks and other useful information for the collector such as how to spot a reproduction.  159 pages. Some shelf wear to the spine and tips along with remnants of a price sticker on the front.  Cute addition is a three dimensional Indian penny in the title.  

I bought this as an old bank and it looks old rather than one of those reproductions.  I think it best though that you not purchase this unless you are knowledgeable.  Please view the scans provided to see the condition.

This still bank measures less than six inches tall. You can see some of the residue of the gold paint as well as the red on the cap. Large slot on the back. Some rusting on his butt and around the original screw. It has the smooth feel of an original bank.

This is No 52 A Moko Lesney product. Made in England by Lesney. Paint is scraped off the back of the driver's head, otherwise is good condition.

Please view the scans to see the condition of these two marbles. I showed them to a marble dealer and he was very impressed with them. He did point out that the pontil on the yellow green one had been ground slightly.

Attractive old tin,complete with almost a full pack of ancient crayons, poor condition, of course. Front is in fairly nice condition but back is quite rough. Dated 1937 made by Standard Toykraft Product New York, NY.

Colorful paint tin with minor wear. Measures four and a half by five and a half inches. Paint holder is included. Made by the American Crayon Company, Sandusky Ohio.

I was told that this was a Civil War era dominoes set but am no making no claims. Note the dove-tailing on the box. Bottom seems a little loose. 28 dominoes in the set. They appear to be Ebony and some kind of bone. Attached my metal rivets.

This type of puzzle was popular during World War II. Normal wear. Another puzzle with a war theme can be found in the Militaria category.

Here's an early reference work on mechanical banks by F H Griffith. Second edition, printed in 1966. Actually engraved pictures of cast iron banks. Unpapged pamplet. Includes American and foreign made banks, semi-mechanical banks, fakes, etc.

Meet Brewster, who is somewhat bedraggled. Brewster made noises and turned moved around when I bought him a few years ago. Now he does neither. The noise was very annoying anyway. Dingy areas, feathers worn down and off in some areas. Hopefully he can be brought back to life by someone who knows what they are doing. This is marked Marx and looks to be from the 30's.

Here are three neat items from Cracker Jack. The round item is from Rueckheim Brothers & Eckstein, Chicago Illinois. It a little dexterity game. The red seems faded but it could have been made that way. A mirror is on the back. Normal wear. The red truck has some scratches and areas where the paint is missing. Some rusting. I have shown the worst side in the scan. The other little horse and buggy has an advertisement for Angelus Marshmellow. Nice condition on this one.

Great old wooden jointed doll with a composition material head for Howdy. Considerable wear to the head, with crazing, some pimples and worn paint. Biggest dig in the head is in the back. The body also has wear, painted worn down in spots where the legs and arms move and also on the hands. The sticker on his chest has a middle portion missing. Rubber band which serves as the belt is worn and may be missing a buckle as there are a couple of small holes. I also believe this doll may have had a straw hat, which is missing.
