This postcard shows Bryan on a horse "Back to the Farm".  3 Strikes and Out.  Card was mailed in 1908 and message reads "A landslide for Taft.  Bryan is down and out."

This is a rare card.  There is corner wear so study the scan.  President William Taft visited Nashville in 1911, staying at the Belle Meade Mansion.  There was a special extra large tub that was installed for President.  Seated here is Taft, Judge H H Lurton, and J M Dickinson, Secretary of War.  Dickinson is no doubt, wearing a welcome ribbon for Taft.   

This card is a little worse for the wear but is quite scarce.  Roosevelt greets the crowd gathered on the grounds of the University of Nashville-Peabody College.  Note the stained area on the top edge and wear to the corners.  Content on the back does not relate to the event.

Beautiful image of Taft, "Our Next President."  Mailed in 1908.  Wear to the corner tips with one tiny crease on one.

This card shows a ring of women wearing ribbons and carrying American flags which may be a suffrage demonstration but maybe not. No clue on where the card is from.  Stain on the right edge. The sign for a millinery and Rug store does not have the name of the owner. I believe the sign may also say Opening Day, but I doubt that would be the occasion for a parade.

Great street scene which shows a banner for the Republican Headquarters, a banner with photos of Teddy Roosevelt and Charles Fairbanks, and a small banner for the Jesse Littleton for Congress.  Wear to the corners and especially the bottom left hand corner and a tiny edge cut, hardly worth mentioning.  See scan.  Cancel from Chilhowre Tennesseee.

No paypal on this item. Political collectors will note that this card matches similar three dimensional postcards for Bryan and McKinley.  However, I have never seen another one of these nor have other collectors that I have checked with.  Some condition problems, but find another.  Wear to the corners with some staining.  Multiple creases on the left side on the corner and wear to the right bottom as well.  There is a hole in the fabric next to the gun.  The felt on the right coat sleeve needs to be re-glued as it came up when I took it out of the holder.  Stamp on the back was lost but message indicates it was May of 1910.

This card is similar to another example on my site but this one is from Watertown, State unknown as card has not been mailed.  Minor corner wear, though some wear to the pennant which has been glued on.  Glitter around the edges.  See scan.

When I bought this cards I thought it was a suffrage card and when I got home I noted that it says, "Hurrah We Don't Vote for Woman South Beaver Dam.  Embossed with glitter and places where some gem like stones where there (see the spots around the edges)  The pennant is pasted on.  There is a large stain on the left edge which can be seen in the scan. Some wear to the corners and a very light crease on the bottom left hand corner.  The card is on heavy stock.  Never mailed but message on the back.    

Postally used but can't read the year.  Wear to corners, including a crease at top left hand corner.  There is also a small cut in top edge which appears as a line, not that noticible.

Unused card

The National Woman Suffrage group commissioned prominent women illustrators to create postcards which supported the movement. This beautiful card was made by Emily Hall Chamberlin. Campbell Art Company published this card. Unused and excellent condition.

This is beautiful series of depictions of 24 U S President's Homes. They appear to be copies of oil paintings of the homes. Most are in excellent condition with the others only with minor wear. None were mailed. The dealer I purchased the lot from said that it was the complete series but three were missing and now after other purchases only James Monroe's home is missing.  Taylor and Johnson homes are not shown in the scan as they were the ones found later.  Both in good condition.

Rare campaign card for Teddy Roosevelt. Teddy's image is hidden in the tree trunk. The fuzzy bear is attached at the top and the bottom can be swung which shows some stains which may have been glue. Does not show when he is in place. Minor tip wear

Two neat Cracker Jack cards. Some corner wear on the bears in the tree and flaking off of the image on the corners. Large vertical crease on the other card, and light creasing in other areas. Also an area on the back where it looks like it may have been removed from a scrap book.

Unused card in good condition showing a huge Democratic rally. Moose Lodge banners. I have no idea where this event took place.

Postally unused with an undivided back and copyright date of 1912. Refers to the campaign of Woodrow Wilson. "I will not vote for Wilson". It is a reproduction of a song, I believe, and is titled "No Patches On My Pants." Made on cheap paper and has some spotting. Print almost runs off the edge in one area but I believe it is just sloppy printing.

Pretty clean card with the exception of a corner crase. Unused.
