Some scuffing on the surface where the paint is missing.  Wear to the rim in numerous places where the paint has rubbed off.  Color is still nice and overall it presents well.  Measures 16 and a quarter inches by 13 and a quarter inches.  Please study the scan carefully.  The second scan shows the worst area on the surface.

This is one of my favorite 3-D items from my collection  This is a nickle torch in excellent condition fixed firmly on a Kepi style hat.  Please view the scans to see the nice condition.  The cord and buttons are missing.  Manufacturer was Benziger Brothers, Chicago.  This torch is listed in the Smithsonian Publication on Political Campaign Torches which gives the date of usage from 1888.   

This is the rarely seen mate to the Richard Nixon Rumph Mug.  I purchased this about twenty years ago and have never seen another one offered in auction or elsewhere. There are no cracks or chips.  I have shown the mug from all angles in the following scans.  Measures five inches tall.

This style torch was used in the 1860's. There is no stick for this torch which due to the small opening would have been very puny. General minor wear.

I had to buy this unusual item which is hard to show in a scan as it kept rolling the wrong way. It measures six and a half inches. There is a paper insert inside which has rolled in a little as you cannot see the ending of Roosevelt's name. It is entirely closed so was put in the tube somehow. There is some ink residue on the tip so it was actually used as a pen. I believe rolled out would show that it was an American flag. You can see the stars but the blue field has faded. In the middle you can read Americ but not the a.

This home made torch was roughly carved in the form of a rifle. Rifle torches are uncommon. The stock measures five feet. The torch, which does contain the wick was assembled in an unusual way and may have been reattached and repaired at some point over the years. The holders seem to have been attached by driving a very long nail through the torch. It came loose on one end when I was photographing it but I could re-attach it easily. The addition of the disc may have also been added later to enhance it. It's a flattened disc which reads, "Abe Lincoln Nov 6 1863" . Shipping costs will be determined later so ignore the cost on the invoice.

Scarce paperweight for Bryan and Kern. Some surface scratches visible under a light including one fairly deep. Still looks great to the eye. Marks on the white surface do not show through on the other side.

This is a scarce star shaped paper weights showing the Republican candidates of 1904, Theodore Roosevelt and Charles Fairbanks. Gold color on the Roosevelt stars, some of which has worn off.  There is a tiny chip, hardly worth mentioning on the tips of  one of the stars. It is on the underside and not visible at all. Note the curved mark on the white side of the one of the stars in the scan. It does not show on the front side. This will require priority shipping, excessive postage will be refunded.

You don't see very many of these around. As new. Measures 29 X 15 inches

This flag is made of heavy material. I purchased it twenty years ago. Measures 17 by 11 inches. Some staining.

Attractive bandanna with some condition problems. Measures twenty by eighteen inches. I believe that this must have been framed for a long time. Folds along the four edges with some acidic staining outlining the folds. Also see the holes in the white border on the lower right hand side. Graphics on this one are outstanding.

Wrinkled appearance with a musty smell. I could clean it but I'll let the buyer do that. I would rather under price it. No holes or other condition problems I can find. Accidentally clipped off the end of the scarf in the photo but it is complete.

This is a crib sized quilt. Jugate Garfield-Logan ribbon, Garfield memorial ribbon and two Blaine ribbons. The only condition problem that I note is an area where the silk completely wore off, not that noticeable as the white backing is there. The ribbons are in good condition, though the jugate one is wrinkled. 

Flawless example of the popular Reagan tea pot, which is marked Hall. The matching cup is rarer. It is marked U SA on the bottom.

Here's something for the Carter specialist. Very large mug like ceramic item which must have been intended for a planter. Nine inches in height and about 20 inches in diameter. Stamp on the inside which reads Accents Unlimited 1977 so can be considered an inaugural item. Artist signature Mel Tiess. Good condition. Will mail this for actual shipping charges.

Vintage shot glass from Franklin Roosevelt's time. No condition problems.

Overall general wear to this large platter which measures 16 by 13 inches. Paint has rubbed off just above the eagle and in many places around the rim. Please study the scans carefully. I have shown the worst areas but there is paint scuffed off all along the rim and near the rim.

Hairline crack in the rim, not that noticable.

Large mug, seven inches tall. Stamp of Patriotic Products Association, Gold Medal China on the bottom. No chips or cracks. Some overall crazing on the side and back but not on the front. Two spots where the paint did not adhere properly.

Some serious condition problems on this scarce bandana. Large holes and separations at the corners where it has been repaired somewhat with machine stitching in a couple of instances. Small separation in the suit of English which is only visual when held up to the light. Large pin hole near the left hand bottom eagle, again not that noticeable. Age toning and spotting in the portraits against the white field. The appearance of this item could be improved by matting and framing.

I call this a mug because it has a handle but it is large, measuring seven inches tall at the highest point. I purchased this at a flea market about fifteen years ago and since I have never seen another one, I believe it is probably one of a kind. It is similar to the candle and possibly the candle was used as a mold. It is signed on the bottom, "Charlotte (can't read the rest of the name) 1960." There are no chips or cracks. The white spots in the scan is just reflection from the light.

Funny pro Prohibition item showing a drunk with a lot of bottles. The tops of several of the bottles have broken off which is not very noticable. Loss of paint on the top hat. No markings on the bottom. Measures nine inches tall.

Rare Cleveland Hendricks ribbon which has been sewed into a pillow made like a crazy quilt. Long silk ribbon which measures almost eleven inches long. See the outline of darker thread which outlines the shoulders. See scan where the fringe has come loose from the ribbon below the candidates. Some separation in the black silk field to the left of the ribbon, nearest the edge. The creme silk strip is dingy. Back of the pillow is green velvet. Great one of a kind item.

This box measures 16 by 5 and a half inches. The top is loose but there are nail holes along both sides so this was probably the way it came. It seems that all the original stickers appear to be present although darkened with age and with other wear. Sticker on one edge which says Teddy's Own. The lid on the top and bottom also says "Teddy's Own", the top is paint and the reverse is a paper sticker. Remnants of the tax stamp and on the inside other papers labels, "Smoke Teddy's Own." and "none genuine unless stamped Teddy's Own." The second scan shows the inside of the lid which is propped up on the box for better viewing. Am throwing in around twenty antique Tennessee tobacco cigars, hand wrapped but of course, not Teddy's own.

Arm band with a GOP Elephant on felt. Item is longer than the scan. I was told that this was a Hoover item and it seems old enough to be just that

16 by 12 inch Confederate Battle Flag with Clinton Gore written on it in black ink. Made for the Announcement Day Rally in Carthage Tennessee to kick off the 92 campaign. This was actually used by a group of us which we cheerfully waived until the TV cameras swung our way and saw no action after that. Still on the stick. Will have to be mailed in a tube.

Great looking paperweight to the eye but there are numerous surface scratches across the glass, I would say visible only under magnification.  The edges have some tiny but deeper scratches. Two dots in the white area to the left of TR.   I would say it passes the eye test, but not the magnification test, if that makes sense. There are some tiny dark dots on Fairbanks' face, only one I can see with the naked eye.  It is on the paper. The bottom edge has some scuffs and deeper scratches .

Tiny little creamer with a small chip out of the hat brim in the back which can be seen in the scan.

Some stains on this plain Eisenhower hanky, which probably could be cleaned.

Beer mug made for Shakey's Pizza Parlor (on reverse). Informal poll was accomplished by seeing what political candidate the customer chose.

Nice condition on this mug with legs and a big Carter grin.

Scarce campaign item for Jesse Jackson. Heavy mug in good condition.

This bandana has an overall good appearance but close inspection reveals several pinholes, a jagged small tear, a cluster of small holes (shown magnified in the scan) which appears to be insect damage. There are also several small dark stains scattered throughout. Not as terrible as it sounds.

Very rare campaign item for Goldwater with a woman displaying a confederate flag. At the bottom it reads Dixie For Goldwater. Perfect condition. Measures six and a half by five inches.

The transfer is fine and shows the bears on their way to the White House. "Teddy and Rosa on their way to the White House." "We want to see our President who's always on the square and whose good rule of living is bear always and forbear."

The transfer is also worn in some places as might be expected. The title of this plate is "No molliecoddies for Teddy and Rosa. Bears are playing football. "Let dudes remain at home, and molliecoddies pine. We'll always love all outdoor sport and kick the ball in line."

The transfer is fine and shows the bears charging "Up San Juan Hill." "Our colonel is now in the lead." Said Teddy to Rosa that day, and Rosa replied: "I will not be denied for I'll ride to the front of the fray."

"Keep the Lead" is the motto on the John F Kennedy ash tray. Nice condition.

This plate was made by a company in Hot Springs. No chips or cracks.

Here's one I bet you've never seen before. Tiny celluloid picture of T R. I'm not sure what the rest of the knife handle is but it's celluloid like. It was in a box marked Germany, William Elliot & Company. The company's name is also on the upper area of the blade. The worn box is not in the scan but is present and included in the price.

This 1972 game is rarer than the Watergate game and has figures of the important Republican office holders : Richard Nixon, Henry Kissinger, William Rogers, John Connally, John Mitchell, Melvin Laird, Spiro Agnew, and J Edgar Hoover. Nice, unused condition with the only problem being a split corner on the box and a couple of dark stains on the cover. This is the plastic figures edition. This will be expensive to mail as it measures 21 and 1/2 by 14 and 1/2 inches and it is heavy.  The figures were sculpted by Alexander Silveri of Graz, Austria who has/had won many art prizes in Europe. The figures are a modern plastic.  There was also a set for the Democrats.

Nice condition on this campaign scarf despite the poor scan and reflection on the scan.

Wonderful pressed glass platter showing Teddy in the middle and the dancing bears all round the edges. "A Square Deal" is featured at the bottom. Some scratches but not chips or cracks.

Six and a half inch plate with two bears in the middle with one carrying a gun, no doubt hunting down Teddy. Dancing bears around the edge. No defects.
