This is a cardboard poster which measures 42 X 13 1/2 inches.  This was for his first Senate run. Excellent condition.

Damage to this scarce flasher with cracking. I've only had one of these that was not damaged. Please view the scan carefully. Gore's face is the other view but I couldn't capture it with the scanner.

Interesting 8 by 10 photograph of U S Congressmen dressed for some type of baseball game. Stain affecting left edge of the photograph. I have only been able to identify a few of them which are as follows: Front row left to Right-Al Gore Sr from Tennessee, Scoop Jackson of Washington, Percy Priest of Tennessee, Sheridan of Pennsylvania, Oren Harris, Arkansas, Happy Chandler of Kentucky. From the estate of Percy Priest, House Whip.

Some tears on the dust cover, does not detract much. Water damage to lower spine of the boards. some of the black ink transferred to the inside of the cover and also a small area at the fold of the inner fly at the bottom. Does not extend through the other part of the book.

This letter on browning paper was written by Al Gore Sr to Abe Waldauer on January 8, 1935. Gore was then just beginning his political career, this lette written when he was Superintendent of Schools in Smith County. Political talk.
