This 27 page booklet was reprinted from the Numismatist in 1959.  It contains a listing of Sutler tokens issued to soldiers  Illustrations of some of the scrip and tokens that were used to buy food and other goods. These must have been very rare as I have seen few examples. Some light staining.

Out of print book in excellent condition written by George B Tremmel in 2003.  Complete reference of Confederate fake currency.  Selling much less that others on the web at the time of the listing.

Nice crisp note.  Uneven borders, one pin hole visible only when holding to a light, and a crease along the right edge next to the man.  I guess the red stuff at the top right edge is a legitimate marking like a cancel but not sure what.  This is not my thing but I do the best I can.  Please study the scan.  The little coupons were found with it and they are off a Confederate bond. They are for thirty dollars each off a thousand dollar bond.  Oh the humanity.

This bank note has some wear to it primarily along the edges.  I also count around eight pin holes when held up to the light.  Small tear in the right border and some in the bottom edge just past the 50.  Part of that area has flaked off.  General roughness on the bottom edge under the 50 on the right hand side.  Light stains in spots.  The bill is not crumpled however and it actually presents pretty well.

Great condition on this note. The only problem I can spot is the bottom edge was cut unevenly. T 51
