1880 Lettersheet. Folds, spindle hole and a stain on the upper right area.  The dark area that shows in the scan was erased.  The workers appear to be black men.  

I bought this simple invoice as was intrigued with the title and wanted to find out more about it.  I learned from the web the following information: The Working Women’s Home is the oldest continuing charity in Montgomery. In 1881 a group of 39 Montgomery women met to form and organize a home for Working Women and the Helpless. It was their intent to provide a home in which working women could obtain comfortable rooms and to aide them in finding the means to support themselves and their children and to care for them in sickness and to use every means to help them help themselves. From then until 1992 the Moulton House then located on the corner of Union and Adams was the center of a complex of cottages that housed women of little means and their children. The association continues in their charitable goals.

Great graphics on this very early advertising lettersheet. dated 1854.  Light rag paper.  Connecticut Agricultural Warehouse.  

Early invoice for this company that dealt with carriage springs, axles, malleable iron, and carriage bolts.  Folds.

Note the tear at the top right where this letterhead was ripped out of an album. Bottom right corner creases. Folds and a very dirty backside.

I love the graphics which show the product and the building.  Note all the wagons at the bottom of the building.  Holes at top.  Dealer is other fruits.

This kit measures seven by four and a half inches and is complete.  All the implements are there as well as the a paper insert and complete directions are on the back of the top which includes a woman demonstrating it's use.  Some wear to the box, with one edge split.  "Cure Without Drugs Use Chloro-Gas for Colds.  Guaranteed non-poisonous."   Made by Holden Laboratories  in Chicago Illinois.

The damage on this invoice has more damage than I noted when I purchased it.  Cut out of the top edge and hole on the lower paper and on the back it has been extensively repaired with scotch tape.  1886 Graphic Invoice

Interesting 1913 billhead/ invoice.  This company in Gay Georgia did "all kinds of repair work" including horse shoeing and automobile work.  Please see the scan to see the condition of this item.

Nice graphics on the cover of this two page flyer (four pages of content) and one on  the inside as shown in the scans.  Folds, somewhat crumpled appearance and a couple of creases.  Dingy areas on the back.  Undated but clearly from the late 1800's.

The 1895 letter has different company for the letter and the cover but they go together.  The People's Cyclopedia re written by A H White in Toledo Ohio

Eight and a half inch circular which opens up but no graphics on the side or back.  There is a separate instruction sheet that gives instructions for operating this item "adaptable to all locks" and locks and unlocks automatically.  Circa 1875.  Available at Cone & Hall, Cincinnati, Ohio.  See scan  

Two similar circulars, one measures 10 1/2 and the other 8 1/2 inches.  The company which made the Yale Locks was in Stamford Connecticut.  Both circulars open up but no graphics on the inside or back.  See scans. There is some wear to the folds.

This great paper item is larger than my scanner.  Large engraving of a safe.  Undated but the last date of the testimonials on the back is 1873.  Folds and a tiny tear at the top fold.  New York Company

This 1907  letterhead shows the building of this business and an insert of men handling the coffee beans looks better in person than it does in the scan.  There is some acidic toning but not as prominent as it is in the scan.
