This little item shows a great engraved graphic of Purdy's Keystone Store.  

This great wood box measures 10 1/2 wide  by 9 inches and  six inches tall.  Some wear, of course so study the scans carefully. It opens up like an accordion with three drawers for the accordions. 

This label measures 5 and 1/4 by 5 inches.  It is in excellent condition except for the tiny rubbed out area on the left side near the top.  Here is the information I found on the web about this company, that won a gold medal at the Paris Exposition.

The complete catalog from 1928 is from the House of Gurney in Yankton South Dakota and of the pages are very colorful.  Minor wear.  Also included in the listing are eleven empty packets of different kinds of seeds.  These seeds are from Page's Seeds in Greene New York.  Seven of the packets were shrunk wrapped and the others are loose.  This would make a nice display, properly framed for a kitchen  There are instructions on the back for planting. 

This is a rare ribbon from Butte Montana.  This was actually a national group which sought to combat the critics of the use of alcohol.  The ribbon measures 7 by 2 and a half inches.  Some very small stains in the flag and two pinholes visible when held to the light.

Six small cards that were issued in Cigarette packs in 1905 by John Player. Some minor wear to the tips but with no creases. One has pencil scribbling on the back.

Celluloid cover with the date 1909 on it.  The little button says best wishes.  There are only three blotters inside.  Measures five and a half by three inches 

Measures 5+ by 1 and a half inches.  Discreet crease on top right hand corner.  The back lists the total popular vote McKinley and Bryan.

This colorful advertising card is the size of a postcard.  It is a color lithograph.  There is some light staining on the edge. The back also has some stains. There is a poem praising the quality of Buster Brown bread.

This little booklet measures 4 by 4 inches and was put out by the Chamber of Commerce in Meridian.  It's a little view booklet showing bathing beauties, Meridian Junior High School, Lauderdale County peach and strawberries orchards, hydro-electric plant, highways, a city home, a church, and a creamery.  Color lithograph covers and all in excellent condition.

Here is a rare sign with all the defects you could hope for in a vintage sign.  Measures 29 and a half by 14 and a half inches.  You will find some minor rusting, some unnecessary nail holes, paint missing, dents etc.  Marked Press Sign Co-St. Louis.  See scans to view the condition better.

Sun Drop was developed in New Haven, Missouri, by Charles Lazier, a salesman of beverage concentrates.[2][3] While riding around town in the family car, Lazier quickly scribbled a recipe for a new soft drink on a small piece of paper which he handed to his son, Charles Jr. The younger Lazier worked as a lab technician at his father’s plant, and soon began work on the formula. Two years later, Sun Drop Cola debuted at the American Bottlers of Carbonated Beverages Conference in Washington, D.C.[4] The Sun Drop formula was patented on April 15, 1930.

The drink was marketed in several Southern states under names such as "Sundrop Golden Cola" or "Golden Girl Cola." The brand was acquired and standardized by Crush International in 1970. Crush International was purchased by Procter & Gamble in 1980, which sold its soft drinks holdings to Cadbury Schweppes in 1989. Cadbury Schweppes emerged in 2008, with its beverages unit becoming Dr Pepper Snapple Group, which currently produces Sun Drop.

Sun Drop has maintained popularity in many parts of the southern United States, especially in Tennessee, North Carolina and parts of the Midwest, including Wisconsin and western Minnesota. Similar to other regional drinks with a cult following, fans outside bottling areas have been known to pay large amounts to have the drink shipped to them. Families have sent it to U.S. soldiers serving in Afghanistan.

There are condition problems on this great advertising item.  Measures one and 3/4 inches.  There is a bump on the top rim and a large arc of heavy foxing.  The celluloid surface is bumpy to the touch but the colors are quite vivid.  This item was produced by Stafford Mil er in St Louis Mo.  The reverse mirror is present but spotty with loss of the mirror surface.  The entire rim is rusted. 

This beautiful sign measures 30 by 12 inches.  Minor wear in spots on the edges.

Interesting advertising item which also serves as a socket screw calculator.  Information on the back as well including the decimal equivalents.  Encapsulated with a celluloid protector. General wear, as expected.  Measures 8 by 3 and a quarter inches.

This letter is from the Essex County Health Association, Beverly Massachusetts advertising the sale of the 22nd Annual Christmas Seal Sale for the benefit of the Massachusetts Tuberculosis League.  The actual stamps are on the back and there are six rows of stamps, three of the rows stuck to the top three rows.   

This lot consists of two plastic pseudo license plates, one advertising Automobile Electric Service Co in Nashville Tennessee and the other is for Hardaway Ford Co. in Phenix City, Alabama and Columbus Ga.  I'm guessing at least the Nashville one is from the 40's or 50's due to the phone number.  Both were made by the Vernon Company in Iowa. Minor wear.

This figurine measures six and a half inches tall.  It is very light so I think it is paper mache.  It was in excellent condition but I knocked the feet off after buying it at the Nashville flea market knocking it in the bag against something. At the time of this listing I remembered that I had damaged it but had a hard time finding where I had repaired it so it is not that noticible. See second scan.   Selling at a loss. 

Nice little clay figurine advertising Red Goose Shoes.  Measures four plus inches tall.  Excellent condition.   

This colorful advertising sign makes a great display. It measures 24 by 12 by 5 inches.  I traded for this about twenty years ago.  The person who traded it to me had had the transformer replaced.  The only realized price I could find on the web was $1,400. Ignore the shipping price on the invoice.  Actual shipping charges will apply which I don't know what it will be.  It obviously will need careful packing, possibly professional packing.

This should be a pretty scarce jar.  This one measures around 8 and a half inches tall and around 5 and a half inches wide.  Embossed lettering reads "Colgans Taffy Tolu Jar" on both sides.  There are several dings around the inner rim. The top is missing.

This jar measures 7 inches tall and around 5 inches wide.  It is missing the lid.  The lettering is embossed so may be hard to see.  Reads Kis-Me on one side and on the back it reads Kis-Me Gum Co-Louisville Kentucky.  The jar has a light lavender appearance caused by being exposed to sun light. There are several small cuts to the inner rim and one area on the inside of the top portion which is rough to the touch and appears as a rather long scratch. 

Minor wear to this tin which measures three inches tall.  It is full of the original ingredients. Made by Hitchcock Medicine Co in Atlanta Georgia.

You have to wonder how little delicate items like this survive over the years.  This four by two and a half inch advertising hand out was made on thin pink paper.  Some light crumpling, a tiny edge tear and other minor wear.  An engraving of Phineas T Barnum, "Proprietor of the largest Traveling Exhibition in the World" on one side and an engraving of Admiral Dot and his Mother, "the smallest man in the world" on the other side date 1873.  Price 5 Cents.  I found a small item in the book on Barnum that was similar to the way this item was madeprice reduced

1957 actual silver quarter encased in a money clip and given in 1962 in honor of their "quarter of a century" sales.

This paper item is six inches tall.  Nashville Bank and Trust Company.  Small tear on Santa's leg.

This was actually a thermometer but it's hard to call it that as the thermometer is missing.  I believe it could be easily replaced as one could be fitted into the wooden holder on the back and can be reattached.  There is considerable wear to this sign which can be seen in the scan but I bought it as Sun Drop items are quite scarce.  I was unable to find on the web another example of this sign which appears quite old to me.  There is a marking at the bottom which reads 60 M17 C which could indicate it is from 1960. Heavy rusting at the top and along the edges.  Other rusty areas too numerous to mention.  Holes as made but the top hole has been expanded.  Dents in the Sun-drop bottle cap, a couple in the thermometer area and at the top edge.  Please study the scan carefully as the sign is being sold as is.

Great old poster featuring an Indian motorcycle and a racer from the 1940's endorsing it.  Ted Edwards was endorsing the Model 249 Scout.  Overall foxing, one upper edge tear on the heavy stock paper.

Seven by five plus inches on this thick color lithograph cardboard calendar in the form of a trade card. Some wear to the corners where some of the brown color has worn off.  Some scattered small spots. Calendar for 1910 is on the back and advertising for this St Louis Missouri company. The model is Beatrice.  

Eight vintage labels in this lot in excellent condition except for a small nip out the bottom edge of the Thomaston Peaches label.   Rogers, Dixiana, Cloudkist, Thomaston Queen Peaches, Our Big 6 Brand, and 4 Pearson's Peaches.  Lee Pope Farm, Bateman Co, Charles A Rodgers & Sons and Lamar Orchards

Beautiful two inch celluloid.  Looks great to the eye but under strong magnification under a light there is some clear spotting, also a small celluloid cut at lower right hand edge.  Ribbons are faded.  

This elaborate Christmas greeting  is missing the cover and probably a silk ribbon.  Every page has a generic graphic scene and poems as well.  There is reference to the laundry with the scanned graphic as well as the last page "And as these pictures you admire, and while these lines you lightly scan Remember at the Christmas fire this greeting from your laundryman.  Last page: "Dead finished collars and cuffs will not crack.  Produced only by McEwen's laundry.  McEwen's Steam Dye Works clean or dye the most delicate shade or fabric without ripping.  Office: 221 North Cherry St. Telephone 548.
 

Neat little advertising item for the Schultz Company in Zanesville.  Face is clean, some dents on the metal rim.  Mirror present on the reverse, some rust along the outer rim.  Object of the game is to get the four white balls in the monkey's teeth.. 

Neat old box, which measures 2 and a half by 1 and a half inches which still contains the rosin, through all dried up.

This dealer lot consists of seven  placards advertising different models of the Wing Piano.  The color lithography advertising is mounted on a black cardboard stock.  Minimal wear to the paper which has a slick surface.  Measures 11 and a half by 11 and a half inches, not counting the board. All are different and includes 1. New Style Exposition Concert Grand-White and Good, 2. Wing Piano Concert Grand, New Style Imperial Circassian Walnut,  3.Concert Grand, Style 29-Circassian Walnut, 4. Concert Grand Style 19 Quartered Oak, 5.Cabinet Grand, Style 23-Figured Mahogany, 6.Cabinet Grand Style 23-Circassian Walnut, and 7. Concert Grand, Style 29 Figured Mahogany Case..    

Some wear but entirely intact.  See the scans. Makes a great display. Measures nine by five inches.

Smallish chest which measures eleven and a half by nine inches. Circa late Nineteenth Century to early Twentieth Century. It has a worn paper covering with brass rivets, metal trim encircling the little hump back chest. Cloth hinges. The leather handles are missing. Part of the metal on one side has come loose. The top is completely detached and the back shows evidence of later repairs to the spine which failed. What makes this item special is not only that it survived in its precarious state but that it is advertising "New Golden's Honey Tolu Delicious Substitute for Tobacco" Manufactured by J T Gregelius & Company in Louisville Kentucky. Rare and beautiful magazine ad insert for Coca Cola from 1905. This ad is very rare, especially when the coupon is still attached. There are condition problems despite the overall attractive appearance. Corner tear on right hand side tear which runs to the chair. This is visible on the scan. Just above the tear there is a crease and light puncture which corresponds to the damage on the back from being pasted in an album. There are other scattered punctured marks on the surface which do not go all the way through to the other side. Tiny corner crease on upper right hand corner, another small tear on right hand edge. There are also scattered tiny brown spots, visible on the scan on the bottom of the white dress. Other minor wear but most of these problems not that visible to the eye and certainly not that apparent if framed. The damage on the back side can be seen on the scan and evidently is due to being pasted in a scrapbook. Coke

Catalog measures 11 X 5 inches and has six interior pages of illustrations of the coolers. Undated. There is a large water stain on the cover which covers the bottom left hand area. This does not extend to the interior page although the back cover also has a stain.  Coke

One half inch cello with Whitehead & Hoag paper for famous dolls made in the early 1900's. Name is placed in the heart denoting I love Effanbee. Long scratch which extends through the button.

Neat celluloid top advertising a quack remedy for "liver ills."
