The fan in the shape of Illinois is in great condition and was put out by the Illinois Democratic Women. Dick Durbin, Barack Obama-Rod Blagojevich, Pat Quinn, Lisa Madingan, Jesse White, Dan Hynes, Emil Jones and Michael Madigan. Fan was too big to fit in the scanner.

Two items in this lot, a bumper sticker and a mini pamphlet.  

This is a tiny button, 3/4 of an inch with no back paper or pin.  There are some tiny dark spots and white spots.

This is a rare Electoral Ticket from Virginia.  Condition problems are evident in the scan, two hard discolored folds, a couple of corner creases and some staining.  The voter has signed on the back.  This is the only example that I have ever seen from the important 1860 presidential campaign.

This is from Gary Hart's Presidential run in 1984.  Some wear to this small item as can be seen in the scan.

Booklet and a bumper sticker.

First edition printed by the Viking Press, N Y in 1977.  Tear in dust cover and other wear to the cover.  The women subjects are Sarah Moore Gimke, Harriet Tubman, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Mother Jones, Charlotte Perkins Gilman, Anna Louise Strong, and Dorothy Day. 

I hope my mop up activity is just what you've been looking for in the Presidential hopeful category.  The Stop Stassen button measures one and 3/4 inches and looks just as bad as the scan looks.  The other two are in average condition.

Three inch button in average condition.  This was a Presidential hopeful item.

This is the second edition of this important reference on people who have run for President, Congress, and Governor.  It is a must for the collector who focus is on local political items.  It is very big and heavy and will be sent media mail.   You will be able to find obscure politicians in this huge book that may not be on-line   

Rare poster which is in poor condition.  It is light cardboard and will have to be mailed flat.  It measures 24 by 18 inches.  An example of the damage can be seen in the second scan but the other defects are not that visible.  These problems include many creases, bunged up corner areas, stains, thumb tacks, and considerable edge wear.  Some collectors would not want such a damaged poster but I think there is a certain charm about a poster that was actually used in a campaign and shows all the battle scars. 

I recently found two of these scarce buttons.  Nice condition and measures one inch.

One and a half inch cello which looked great to the eye but when I looked at it later under magnification and under a strong light I see some defects.  There is a pin prick that is rough to the touch, another one not that deep and a circular lamination error just under Wer.

Ticket for the National Democratic Party.  Democrats who favored the gold standard gathered around the National Democratic Party after the nomination of William Jennings Bryan.  This is a New Jersey ballot.  Nice condition.

This photo was taken at an angle to avoid reflections. The poster measures 34 by 22 inches. Tears at the bottom edge as well as some on the right and left edge. There is a crease that goes all the way down on the right side. Some other wear but it would look good matted and framed.

One and three quarter inch cello in good condition.

One and 3/4 inch celluloid. This was obtained in the Young Democrats convention in Nashville. Made by the UCLA Democrats for the govenors race and the Presidential Election according to the note attached on the back.

This mirror measures three inches wide and advances Howard Baker for President. This item is from Ilinois. See red ink smudge which shows in the scan.

Three items to this lot, two are for sure Presidential and I'm not sure about the little needle case.

This flyer measures 11 by 8 and a half inches. This flyer was a Presidential hopeful item.

Nice condition on this large booklet for Harriman's Presidential campaign.

Here's another Butler item for the Butler collector, if there are such folks. This is actually a Civil War patriotic cover, dated 1861.

This note is pretty tattered as can be seen in the scan so price has been adjusted accordingly.

This pamphlet was published in Nashville in 1855. Title is the American's Text Book being a Series of Letters, addressed by An American to the Citizens of Tennessee. Very rare 80 page soft bound booklet about the Know-Nothing Party. Listed in Ronald Allen's book, "More Tennessee Rarities", and valued at $650 years ago. Black stain on back cover and covering most of the closed pages. Cover page somewhat dingy but interior page look good.

Lots of campaign material in the issue of the magazine put out by the National Committee of the Progressive Party. Separated at the spine and with tears, missing portions, and other such wear. 14 pages. I can't tell if it's complete.

This little booklet measures five by three inches. Separated at the spine half way down but otherwise in good condition and displays nicely.
