This is the rarest and most highly sought book by William A Albaugh.  Am offering for considerably less that all the other examples on the web at the time of this listing.  This book was published privately by the author in 1963.  There is an embossing stamp of a previous owner on the title page.  The printing was limited to 1000. copies.  Clean interior but the dust cover is in poor condition as can be seen in the scans. Chipping on the spine of the dust cover, actually causing large missing areas.  Dust cover is separating at the front fold. The boards are clean but there is shelf wear to the spine.   

This is a first edition, printed by Harpers's in 1960.  Dust cover has some chipping at the top and bottom of the spine and wear to the cover folds.  Pasted in name of a previous owner, otherwise a clean copy. The illustrations used in the book are drawings by Carl Pugliese.

Beautiful over sized reference book by the noted expert Norm Flayderman.  Presumed first edition printed in 2004. 512 pages of the most gorgeous color illustrations you will ever see. There is wear to the dust cover with ragged edges and tears along with a price sticker residue. I have tried to list this several times but wanted to go through it just one more time.  I have no interest in Bowie Knifes but the knives are displayed in wonderful period photographs beginning with the earliest time, with a heavy emphasis on the Civil War.  They are also displayed  with rare broadsides and other artifacts that are stunning to say the least.  This is a very heavy book so media shipping costs will be high.  Ignore the shipping costs which are just an estimate.  I will charge actual shipping costs.

Scarce first edition which documents the 200 most important Confederate Books for the Reader, Researcher and Collector. Printed in 1978 by Jenkins Publishing Company. Minor wear but with a inked stamp of a previous owner on the first page which says In Tall Cotton, gives the name and address with phone number. Small stained are on the page edges visible when book is closed.

Second edition of this softbound book which was published in 1972 and authored by Turner Kirkland, who autographed this copy. Pictorial  reference work which includes examples of derringers used in the civil war. Good condition and 102 pages.

Nice condition on this volume of the Military Bibliography of the Civil War by Dornbusch. Morningside Edition 1987

1992 printing from Starwood Publishing. This is a good reference which features the rare maps from the Library of Congress. Nice condition.
