This card came with a lot of postcards from Tennessee.  I had a hard time identifying it until I saw a later postcard view of this, although the building had been extended over the years. The station was erected in 1903 but since the unmailed card has a divided back, it must have been made later.  Tiny tip crease- The other card shows the station which has grown in buildings.  It was cancelled in 1915.  This card has corner tip wear with the image worn off.      

This card shows Admiral Farragut's Cabin at the National Exposition grounds. Some staining on the left edge, not mailed.  This is an early card from the Exposition.

Some corner wear, including creasing on the bottom right corner.

Thick card which was not mailed.  It has 191- on the back.  Minor wear.  Advertisement for a bible on the back. This shows a view from Bridge Landing to Machinery and Liberal Art Building. I believe this must be from the Appalachian Exposition which was held in 1910.

Message on the back but the card was never mailed. Tip wear and creasing on bottom left hand corner which can be seen on the back more than on the front.

Never mailed.  Edge wear and corner wear where the image is flaked off slightly, common for this type card.

Drawings of projected scenes at the Exposition.  The card is canceled a day after the Exposition ended.  Very minor tip wear.

Some tip wear.  Busy scene with vendors at Market Square with A C Hood Dairy wagon and sign for Haynes House.

This card was mailed to Laura J Carter in La Fayette Tennessee the year the exposition was held and it is a variant of the same views made in a later year.  Some corner wear and slight edge wear. 

Never mailed, very minor wear

Some wear to this card that was mailed in 1913 but I had never seen this particular view of the exposition before.  Most of the damage is the flaking off of the image around the corners and edges.  See scan.Chilhowee Park showing boat house and lake in foreground and the main buildings of Appalachian Exposition held in Knoxville.

This card is from a building at the National Conservation Exposition that was held in Knoxville Tennessee. Not mailed, stains on back. Breaks in the photo finish which appear as creases but are not. This is a common problem with this type of finish. Wear to corners.

This post card is from the Appalachian Exposition held in Knoxville in 1910. Small tear at top edge and corner crease at bottom. Some age stains.

Postally cancelled but can't quite read it. However, the message is dated 1910. Wear to the corners and a slight crease. Something shiny is visable in a couple of places when the card is rotated in the light. This has got to be a rare view. Knoxville
