Short bill head dated 1889.  

This billhead advertised Hardware, Woodenware and House Furnishing.  Sole agents for Red Wing Brand Goods.

This little graphic letterhead is not dated but George A Lewis in Frankfort Ky published the Frankfort Roundabout and the Kentucky Law Reporter.

Small billhead from the Landsberg & Harris company in Atlanta.  Dated in 1867, reconstruction period.  Complete with a revenue stamp.

Nice little postwar billhead on blue rag paper and with a revenue stamp.  This was Hoge, Mills and Company.  Folds as made. My scanner clipped off the left edge but it is complete. Can be folded along the original folds and sent in a first class envelope for a savings.

Billhead for a company from the 190's that sold tropical and semi-tropical fruits.  Dingy area on right hand side.  The second owner could spell Connella. 

Personal letter dated 1902.  Nice condition.  Addressed to Mrs. Sarah A Jones, Shelbyville Tn.  Written by her daughter.

This is an interesting item which shows the  customer how to measure themselves and thereby order dresses by mail. This appears to be from the 1880's.  The shop was on 530 Fourth Avenue in Louisville.  Folds and some corner creases.  Note: A modiste is a female who makes clothes for women.

This letter was written to "Hon Ordinary ?", Floyd County Rome Ga.  Lance B Simmons "acting for Mr Hughes" is asking for a certificate of the marriage of Mr. Robt Nathaniel Hughes to Miss Lila P Morton. Folds, will be mailed first class in envelope.

James Allen was a prominent Jeweler in South Carolina.  Diamonds, Fine watches.    Folds and one small edge tear.

This is a two page personal letter dated 1889 along with the cover.

This is a one page letter from 1872 which continues on the back.  "A Looker On" is taking Alexander H Stephens, to whom the letter is written to task.  He questions whether Stephens is a Republican since "You gloat over the defeat of Greeley..." "I believe you have been bought by the Grant party." and more along this line.  He is referring to comments that Stephens had made in the Atlanta Daily Herald."

This invoice from J D Estes is dated in 1884.  The store was in Goodwater Alabama. Folds

This is an unused advertising letter sheet.  Nice little graphic of a telephone giving their number as 102 so it's an early item.

Rather poor condition on this bill head with a revenue stamp.  Wide accordion like folds and dinginess. Clipped corner and tears at folds.

Scanner cut off the right edge but the lettersheet is complete.  There are some stains.  Signed by J A Worley.

Unusual billhead from a woman who dealt in bonnets in Macon Georgia in the 1850's. Ragged right edge with some tears and to a milder degree on the left edge.  Ink spots at the top. Can be mailed along the existing folds for first class postage but you have to request it.

This nice bill head is dated during the Civil War so is a Confederate imprint.  R H Leonard is one of the names I can read.  Looks great on the front but there is a large stain on the back. Carhart & Curd was a historic hardware store in Macon.

This is a nice 1903 graphic billhead from Dillingham Mfg In Sheboygan Wisconsin.  Folds and can be mailed first class by folding along the original folds

Nice graphic of a shot gun.  T W Tignor also produced shot guns.  Acidic staining on left side and mid top edge.  Customer was P H Martin.

This is a circular which measures 8 and a half inches with a graphic of The American Fountain Pen" offered by a pen seller in New York.  This would make a good go with for the fountain pen collector. Estimated to be from the late 1800's.

This 1876 billhead has some condition problems which can be seen in the scan, but a great graphic on the Mill. The scan cut off some of the bottom edge.

I have no idea where this stable was but I love the graphics and the 230 phone number.  Hack, Cabs, and Buggies for Hire.  Large crease on upper right corner and a smaller on on the bottom corner. Pencil writing on the back.

This letter is dated in 1950,  Large stain and tiny chip on the right edge

Very long graphic invoice of purchases by Carhart & Hurd, long time early hardware store in Macon Ga.  The invoice is longer than my scanner, 14 inches long.  The back is dingy as it was found in the walls of an old house than was torn down. This is of interest as it shows the price of so many items.  Can be folded along the original folds and mailed in a legal sized envelope for a savings.

Very dingy edge and large crease.  Some dinginess on the back as well.  Found in the walls of a house that was being torn down.
