This caricature is generally considered to be Sojourner Truth, an early African American slave who spoke passionately for freedom for slaves and voting rights for women. My photo cut off part of the bottom but there are no cracks, chips etc. The letter N was left off of the wording Women. Some loss of paint on the reverse side. Pencil message regarding Wyoming's vote on suffrage could be removed easily. Important, difficult to obtain suffrage item.
