Ku Klux Klan-One of a Kind Paper Item
Item #: NEW-0014878

I guess I bought this as I found it mysterious, not because I have any sympathies with the KKK, which I don't.  It's a worn paper (note the folds) and other wear, which measures 9 + by 6 inches.  Someone has glued it to cardboard which on the back has what turns out to be a chant, song, or whatever titled "Non Silba Sed Anthar" which I had to look up and this is what I found on the web:

Non Silba Sed Anthar is a Ku Klux Klan slogan intended to mean "Not Self, But Others." It looks like Latin but is a mix of Latin and Gothic. Occasionally it appears in acronym form as NSSA. The phrase is one of many phrases, codes and rituals developed by the Second Ku Klux Klan in the early 20th century. Please view the second scan to see the paper that has been glued to the back.  Written on the back is the notation, "Found in the bookcase of Clayton and Irene Lawd (or Land) after their deaths (1985).

This appears to be an intricate pencil drawing, either a copy or an original, I donít know which.  It is loose on the bottom right hand corner as if someone tried to remove it and then changed their mind.  I am able to date the item as it shows the beginning year of the Klan as 1866 and the other date is 1915.

Rare KKK Hero Cross-Nathan Bedford Forrest
Item #: NEW-006073

The Hero cross was the highest award the Klan could give to their members. Circa 1920-40's. The dates 1866 and 1915 appear on the front which reflect the year the Klan began and 1915 was the date the organization was revived. The image of course is of Gen. N. B. Forrest who was the first Grand Wizard of the Klan. Medal repels a magnet. Silver finish but may be a silver coating over bronze. Striking is very crisp including the tiny Whitehead Hoag marking. Scan is not true in this respect. This is certainly not one of the recent reproductions being seen today. Purchased about 12 years ago along with a very rare KKK Badge. There were two other vintage KKK items being offered by the seller. Selling this as authentic and if not, money back guarantee. Ku Klux Klan

KKK Plate-"God Give Us Men"
Item #: CIV-003052

Six inches in diameter and very minor wear. No cracks. Gold gilt lettering in the middle of the plate. The Klu Klux Klan was fonded in Tennessee following the Civil War. Initially founded to deal with the lawlessness of reconstruction, the organization became entirely something else so that its founder, Nathan Bedford Forrest disbanded it. No maker on the plate and I'm not sure when they were made but they are quite old.
