LS-Richard Nixon-Official Office of V.P Stationary-Good Content
Item #: NEW-0014534

This is a short letter, dated September 17, 1956, addressed to the Democratic Party Whip, J Percy Priest from Tennessee.  Inked notation at the top reads "Personal" which indicates to me that he actually signed the note.  Here is the content:  Dear Percy:  I want you to know how deeply I appreciated your wiring as you did with regard to my father. The past few weeks have been trying ones and particularly so for my mother, who during the last two years has devoted her life to caring for my father.  For her and for all of us, the messages we have received from our friends have been a great source of comfort and strength.  Signed with a full signature.  Nixon of course was known to worship his Mother and this letter reflects his regard for her.

This letter was obtained from the estate of Percy Priest.

Gerald Ford's Autograph on Campaign Material
Item #: NEW-007867

Gerald Ford autographed item on a campaign item when he was running for President. Of course, it would qualify as a Presidential signature since he was President when he was running for his own term. This is a card which measures 7 by 4 inches. The autograph was made with a Sharpie pen which has lightly bled though on the other side, which also has a campaign message. I did not obtain this autograph but will stand behind it as being authentic.

Herbert Hoover Signed White House Card
Item #: NEW-007864

I found this autographed White House card in a scrap book from a Nashville estate. I believe this is genuine. Hoover did not use an autopen and it does not appear to have been printed. Note the stain or worn area on the left hand side of the card. There is a similar worn area on the back when it was removed from the album.

Short little letter on Stevenson's official stationary. Stevenson is turning down, regrettably, an invitation to the Tennessee catfish fry. No doubt a campaign get-together. Addressed to Sam Siegel, Mayor of Bruceton, Tennessee.

Andrew Jackson Signature-1826 Check-Bank of Tennessee
Item #: NEW-005546

Paypal will not be accepted on this items through payment plans can be arranged.

There can't be many of these around. This check is dated May 6, 1826 and is from the Branch Bank of the State of Tennessee at Nashville. Three hundred dollars. Bold signature of Andrew Jackson. Check has condition problems as can be seen in the scan. X cancel and staining. The white area at the top right hand side is the check itself and has not been repaired. The check has been handled in an archival manner and backed on archival boards. The check is loose within the little brown mat. There is also a tear at the bottom which goes to the squiggly line but it is not that noticeable. I bought this check 15 years ago from a prominent Andrew Jackson collector.
